These photos were featured on our social channels that started before our official launch of SomedayTrips.com this year. Deciding on the top 10 is sort of a crowd-sourced exercise using Instagram, which somewhat skews the results as the account grows, so we are also going to share some honorable mentions.
The USA National Park Service is offering several free admission days in 2017 to celebrate the start of its second century. That's 117 national parks that normally charge a fee for admission will be free during this time. There will be various events throughout the year to celebrate this milestone as well.

The videographers, brothers Patrick and Henrik Shyu, created this stunning video of some of the most incredible landmarks of the southwest.
Their comments and credits: Filmed over two weeks in Utah and Arizona during November 2012. I had the pleasure of visiting "The Grand Circle," a 2000 mile route that winds through Arches National Park, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Mesa Verde, Natural Bridges, Canyonlands, and Grand Staircase-Escalante. It's the American Southwest, an ancient landscape of red rock and sand.
