A Timelapse Journey Through The Alps

Written by  Joerg Niggli

We added this video to our Alps collection for its stunning capture of the majestic snow-capped peaks of the European mountain range.  The time lapse video sequences capture the rolling clouds like an ocean of waves over the mountains and takes you through a tunnel, then out in the open, to scenic viewpoints, across rugged terrain and beautiful landscapes.  It will simply take your breath away.  Joerg Niggli took the footage over the Swiss, French and Italian alps.  The Alps are the highest and longest mountain range in Europe, stretching approximately 750 miles across France, Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria and Slovenia.  Mont Blanc is the highest peak and is situated on the border between France, Italy and Switzerland.

The Joerg Niggli's comment:

A selection of time lapse movies in the Alps. Shot over the years mainly in Switzerland (Lucerne Region, Pilatus, Vals GR, Saentis) some in France (Mont Blanc) and Italy.
