This area of Baltimore is going through a transformation with house renovations and new restaurants in the general area. Consider taking a friend and/or family to the newly opened R House featuring a variety of culinary delights from Baltimore's most exciting chefs. You can find it at 301 W 29th St, Baltimore, MD 21211, only a short distance from 34th Street by car in the Remington area. We have heard good things from friends about Hilo that delivers poke bowls and sushi. For those that have inquiring minds, poke is an imported concept of Hawaiian street food comprised of hand-cut tuna or salmon marinated and served over rice. Hilo is led by Chef Mori who will complement the poke with many Japanese options, including sushi, omakase and a blue crab miso soup to name a few. BRD is an excellent choice with irresistibly good fried chicken sandwiches and wings. There are currently 10 food options at R House.

Another option in the Remington area is Parts and Labor which is a favorite of ours. A butcher and restaurant all-in-one, you will not be dissappointed by the great selections on this menu.
But do not leave Remington without checking out the wonderfully bizarre and eclectic Papermoon Diner, where you'll be dazzled by unbelievable decor, and the food is good too. You'll be looking around the dining room in amazement, and the display is just as wild on the outside as well.
